Lounge away the afternoon on an ocean-front bale, sun-splashed daybed or table on the open terrace overlooking the 57-metre Infinity Edged Pool, just steps above the surf. Choose from shared plates of fresh seafood, creative sushi rolls, refreshing salads that pop with regional flavors, and crisp wood-fired pizzas.

As the sun goes down, the fire pits are lit and Sundara transforms into one of Bali’s most unique dining destinations, offering ‘customized dining’ with Modern Asian cuisine by the seaside. Moving away from the formality and pricing typical of hotel restaurants, the dinner menu is divided into three sections (cold, hot and sweet) with each dish available in three sizes (small, medium and large). This enables diners to choose their style of service and customize their experience to suit any occasion, whether a casual dinner with friends, intimate date night, or evening with the family.
Ingredients are local and organic whenever possible, from seafood, pork and chicken to the fresh produce sourced from local growers. Desserts, breads, sauces and condiments are all made in-house.

Save room for dessert by Executive Pastry Chef Yusuke Aoki (World Champion of the 2018 Valrhona Chocolate Chef Competition and Best Indonesian Pastry Chef at the Salon Culinaire Indonesia 2018). He presents dainty French classics with a Balinese twist and insists on using only Valrhona chocolate; try Yusuke’s award-winning creation, the “Samurai” with Nyangbo 68% Valrhona chocolate, cinnamon kombu seaweed ice cream, red wine fig confiture, fresh fig and a touch of Japanese sansho pepper. Savour a Bali exclusive with the Valrhona Chocolate Fountain Afternoon Tea, featuring an individual fountain served at your table with 22 condiments from fresh fruits, marshmallows and brownies, to Balinese onde-onde (sesame balls), calamari and even bacon.
