As the operations manager of Sundara, Justine takes great pleasure in overseeing every detail of day-to-day operations to deliver the best guest experience at the beach-club, lounge bar and restaurant. Born and raised in Groningen, Justine started her career as a waitress at Hotel Waldorf Astoria, Amsterdam. Her passion for food and hospitality saw her rise up through the ranks to senior management roles in food and beverage as she moved to Bali in search of a new adventure.
Prior to Sundara, Justine spent four years managing independent beach clubs in Bali. She was attracted to the chic style and high level of personalised service at Sundara, and excited by the opportunity to join the island’s most sophisticated beach club and dining destination.
When she has a spare moment, Justine enjoys watching sports, doing crossfit and reading. Her favourite thing about Bali so far? The sunsets, of course.
